Photo at least 100 years old. Official Photo of Deng, found in most history books.

DENG is the captain of a Chinese cruiser in the Sino-Japan Navy Battle at the Yellow Sea in the 1890s. Deng tried ram his ship at the Japanese commanding cruiser after he'd exhausted all his rounds. His cruiser was torpedoed and Deng died.
