描述Flag of Thailand.svg	ไทย: ธงชาติแห่งราชอาณาจักรไทย อันมีชื่อเรียกเฉพาะว่า "ธงไตรรงค์" เป็นธงที่ประกาศใช้เป็นธงชาติของประเทศสยาม (และประเทศไทยในยุคหลัง พ.ศ. 2482) เมื่อ พ.ศ. 2460 ตรงกับรัชสมัยของพระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว กษัตริย์รัชกาลที่ 6 แห่งกรุงรัตนโกสินทร์ พื้นธงประกอบด้วยสี 3 สี ได้แก่ สีแดง หมายถึงโลหิตซึ่งยอมสละได้ เพื่อพิทักษ์ชาติและศาสนา สีขาว หมายถึงความบริสุทธิ์ในพระพุทธศาสนาและธรรมในศาสนาต่างๆ สีน้ำเงิน หมายถึงพระมหากษัตริย์ สีดังกล่าวนี้เดิมเป็นสีโปรดส่วนพระองค์ของพระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว Deutsch: Die Flagge Thailands English: The national flag of Kingdom of Thailand since September 2017; there are total of 3 colours: Red represents the blood spilt to protect Thailand’s independence and often more simply described as representing the nation.
