English: This image shows an about 1.5" (4 cm) large newt larva of the species Alpine newt, Ichthyosaura alpestris (formerly: Triturus alpestris), just below the water surface.
Deutsch: Dieses Bild zeigt eine etwa 4 cm große Molch-Larve (Bergmolch) knapp unter der Wasseroberfläche eines Gartenteiches, welche circa vier Wochen nach dem abgebildeten Stadium den Teich verlassen kann.
