密鋪平面

密鋪平面（tessellation，tiling）即係用一集平面圖形填滿一塊平面，唔重疊亦無隙。唔止平面，有時亦可以用圖形鋪滿曲面或高維空間。M.C. Escher嘅藝術就有好多密鋪滿平面同雙曲面。密鋪滿平面亦有週期同非週期兩種。
