海龍目
海龍目（Thalattosauria，意思係「海洋蜥蜴」）係群史前海生爬行動物，生存喺三疊紀嘅中到晚期。某啲海龍類可以成長到4公尺以上，發展出扁平嘅尾巴，適於海中環境。海龍類嘅外表類似蜥蜴，但佢哋嘅演化關係重未確定，大部分科學家將海龍目嘅演化位置歸類喺魚龍類同主龍類之間。

海龍目傳統上包含阿氏開普吐龍科、海龍科…等科。近年來數名科學家提出海龍形類（Thalattosauriformes）取代原有嘅海龍目，而將海龍目嘅範圍縮細，接近原有嘅海龍超科嘅範圍[4]。以下演化樹出自Mikko Haaramo嘅2004年研究： [2]
