世界科學院（The World Academy of Sciences，TWAS）係一個獨立嘅非營利、非政治性學術行政組織。
第三世界科學院（The Third World Academy of Sciences）喺1983年成立，由發展中國家嘅科學家發起，得到聯合國支持，意大利政府資助，總部設喺意大利的里雅斯特。
2004年12月16號改名做發展中世界科學院（The Academy of Sciences for the Developing World）[1]。2012年9月再改成而家個名。
