Alef 係一隻停咗產嘅並發編程語言，由貝爾實驗室嘅 Phil Winterbottom 設計做 Plan 9 作業系統嘅一部分。佢用編譯嘅類 C 語言實現咗 Newsqueak 嘅基於通道嘅並發模型。
