Deutsch: Freilichtmuseum Roscheider Hof: Französisches Flacheisen Marke "J MANIL". Auf der Oberfläche des Eisens ist dessen Schriftzug in Großbuchstaben und dessen als Gussmarke dienendes Wappen zu sehen. Das Wappen besteht aus einem gestreiften Schild, das von Perlenstäben eingerahmt wird. Das Eisen besitzt einen eisernen Griff der waagrecht auf zwei ebenfalls aus Eisen bestehenden Säulen ruht, die im Eisen angegossen wurde. Links der hinteren Säule finden sich die Buchstaben "No" und rechts davon die Zahl "5". Offensichtlich die Größenangabe.
English: Open air museum Roscheider Hof: French flat iron brand "J MANIL". The surface of the iron shows its lettering in capital letters and its coat of arms, which serves as a casting mark. The coat of arms consists of a striped shield framed by pearl bars. The iron has an iron handle that rests horizontally on two columns, also made of iron, which were cast in the iron. To the left of the rear column are the letters "No" and to the right the number "5". Obviously the size indication. |
