English: Geosynchronous orbit animation. This shows a satellite in a geosynchronous orbit about the Earth. When orbiting at a certain height a satellite's period of rotation is the same as the Earth's, exactly one day.
Català: Animació de l'òrbita geosíncrona. Mostra un satèl·lit en una òrbita geoestacionària al voltant de la Terra. Quan s'orbita a una certa alçada el període de rotació d'un satèl·lit és la mateixa que la de la Terra, exactament un dia.
