候選基因研究

候選基因研究（英文：candidate gene research）係遺傳學上嘅一種研究方法。做候選基因研究會[1]

  • 事先揀好一個基因（候選基因），個基因（基於打前嘅研究）有已知嘅功能，研究者因而有理由相信拃基因會同佢研究緊嗰種表現型特徵（x）有關；
  • 用病例對照研究噉嘅設計，睇吓嗰個基因有邊啲等位基因，以及係「某隻基因會唔會喺有 x 嘅個體當中零舍常見」；

候選基因研究廣受批評，因為候選基因研究得出嘅結果好多時都做唔到再現[2]。
