電磁學
電磁學(粵拼:din6 ci4 hok6;英文:Electromagnetism)係物理學嘅一個子領域,專係研究電磁力-一種喺帶電粒子之間產生嘅一股力-同埋佢嗰柞相關現象,好似係電磁波同埋電場呀咁。電磁力喺電場、磁場、同埋光等嘅現象嗰度都睇到,而且係宇宙嘅基本相互作用(Fundamental interaction)其中一種-佢同強相互作用、弱相互作用、以及重力一樣,唔係由其他力嗰度走出嚟嘅[1]。

古典電磁學(Classical electromagnetism)係電磁學上嘅一個理論框架,亦都係喺中學最常教嘅嗰套,佢喺 1820 至 1873 年期間由馬克士威(James Clerk Maxwell)等嘅物理學家諗出嚟,並且運用咗電荷、電場、同埋電壓等嘅概念同埋一柞牽涉佢哋嘅方程式解釋到好多同電磁力有關嘅現象[2],包括電磁波。呢套理論框架當中最出名係馬克士威方程組(Maxwell's equations)-四條方程式解釋到嗮(嗰陣時已知嘅)電磁現象[3]。
